Keys locked in your car? We're already on the way. Fast unlock. No damage. All makes and models. Call right now.

Why Port St. Lucie Drivers Call Us for Car Lockouts

You tossed your keys on the passenger seat. Closed the door. Heard the lock click.

Now you're standing in the Tradition Town Center parking lot. Or outside Publix. Or in your driveway at 11 PM. And your keys are in the car. Staring at you through the window.

Don't break a window. Don't call a tow truck. Call me instead.

I'm Doctor Lockout. I've been unlocking cars across Port St. Lucie since 2009. Honda, Ford, Toyota, BMW, Tesla—doesn't matter. I'll get you back in your car in under 5 minutes. No scratches. No damage. Just open.

📞 Locked Out Right Now?

Call (772) 284-5142 - Average response: 15-30 minutes.

How Fast Can We Get to You?

Most car lockouts in Port St. Lucie? We're there in 15-30 minutes. Sometimes faster.

St. Lucie West and Tradition? Usually 15 minutes. Main Port St. Lucie? 20 minutes. Out in Jensen Beach or Palm City? 25-35 minutes.

We dispatch from your call. Not "we'll call you back." Not "someone will be there this afternoon." We send a locksmith to you immediately.

And yeah, we really answer at 3 AM. Because that's when lockouts happen.

How We Unlock Your Car (Without Wrecking It)

Air Wedge and Long Reach Tool

This is what we use on 90% of cars. I slide a thin air wedge between your door and frame. Pump it gently to create a 1-inch gap.

Then I slip in a long reach tool—basically a long thin rod with a hook on the end. I reach down, press your unlock button, and you're back in.

No scratches. No bent doors. No damage to weather stripping. Takes 2-5 minutes once I'm set up.

Slim Jim (Older Vehicles)

If your car's from before 2000, I might use a slim jim. It's a thin metal strip that slides between the window and door panel to manipulate the lock mechanism directly.

Modern cars have airbags in the doors, so slim jims don't work. But older Hondas, Toyotas, and domestic cars? Slim jim's still the fastest tool.

Specialized Tools for Modern Cars

Newer cars are harder to unlock. They've got better seals, electronic locks, and anti-theft systems.

I've got brand-specific tools for Teslas, BMWs, Mercedes, and other high-end cars. Each manufacturer has weak points. I know them all.

What If My Keys Are in the Trunk?

No problem. Most cars let me access the trunk from inside the cabin once I unlock the door.

If your car has a trunk-only lock and your keys are stuck in there, I can either unlock the trunk latch directly or pop the rear seats and reach through. Either way, you're getting your keys back.

What If My Kid (Or Pet) Is Locked Inside?

Call 911 first. Then call me immediately at (772) 284-5142.

If a child or pet's locked in your car, especially in Florida heat, that's a life-threatening emergency. I'll get there as fast as physically possible. Usually under 15 minutes.

In extreme situations—car's in direct sun, kid's in distress, we can't get there fast enough—breaking a window might be necessary. I'll guide you through that over the phone if needed.

But 99% of the time, I'm there fast enough to unlock it safely.

Cars We've Unlocked This Week

The Honda Accord at PGA Boulevard

Woman called from the PGA Village parking lot. Keys on the front seat. Engine still running. AC on full blast.

I was there in 18 minutes. Unlocked in 3 minutes with an air wedge and long reach tool. She was back in her car before her groceries got warm.

The Tesla Model 3 in Tradition

Guy locked his phone in his car. Didn't realize you can't unlock a Tesla without your phone or key card. He had neither.

Teslas are tricky—no traditional key locks. But I've got the tools. Got him back in without triggering the alarm or damaging any sensors.

The F-150 at 2 AM on US-1

Trucker stopped for gas on US-1 near Fort Pierce. Locked his keys in the cab while pumping gas. Had to be in Miami by 6 AM.

I met him at the gas station. Unlocked his F-150 in 4 minutes. He was back on the road by 2:20. Made his delivery on time.

Why Not Just Call Roadside Assistance?

You can. But here's what usually happens:

You call your insurance company's roadside service. They say someone will be there "within an hour." That's if you're lucky. I've heard 2-3 hour wait times during busy periods.

When the tow truck driver shows up, they might not have proper lockout tools. Some will try to jimmy your door with a screwdriver or coat hanger. Others will just shrug and say they can't do it.

Compare that to calling me: You talk to a real person. I dispatch immediately. I arrive in 15-30 minutes. I have professional automotive lockout tools. And I've unlocked thousands of cars.

Yeah, you might pay $75-125 out of pocket. But you're back in your car an hour faster with zero damage.

How Much Does Car Lockout Service Cost?

Standard car lockout: $75-125 depending on your location and car type.

After-hours service (midnight-6 AM): Add $35-50 emergency fee.

High-security vehicles (European cars, luxury brands): Sometimes $150-200 because they require specialized tools.

I'll tell you the exact price over the phone before I come out. No surprises.

What Vehicles Can You Unlock?

All of them. Seriously.

I've unlocked everything from 1985 Chevy trucks to 2026 Tesla Model Xs. Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Ford, Chevy, Dodge, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Volkswagen, Subaru, Kia, Hyundai—every major brand.

Motorcycles too. If it's got a lock, I can open it.

Will You Damage My Car?

No. That's the whole point of professional tools.

I've unlocked over 10,000 cars in Port St. Lucie. I don't scratch paint. I don't dent doors. I don't crack weather stripping.

If your car's a special case—super tight seals, aftermarket security, weird door design—I'll tell you before I start. Worst case, I'll tell you I can't do it without risk. But that's happened maybe five times in 15 years.

What If I Lost My Only Key?

That's a different service. If you lost your key completely, I can't unlock your car with something that doesn't exist.

But I can make you a new key. Cut it and program it on-site. Check out our car key replacement service for that.

Do I Need to Prove I Own the Car?

Yes. For your protection and mine.

I need to see proof that you own or have legal access to the vehicle. Registration, insurance card, driver's license with matching address, rental agreement, etc.

I'm not unlocking someone's car without verification. That's how car theft works, and I'm not playing that game.

Common Car Lockout Questions

Can you unlock a car with push-button start?

Yes. Push-button start cars lock the same way as traditional keyed cars. I unlock them using the same air wedge and long reach tool method.

What if my car alarm goes off when you unlock it?

It probably will. That's normal. Once the door's open, you can turn off the alarm with your key (if you're getting it from inside the car) or I can access the ignition to stop it.

Alarms are loud but harmless. They'll shut off once we sort it out.

Can you unlock a car in the rain?

Yep. Rain doesn't stop me. I've unlocked cars in thunderstorms, during hurricanes (before and after), and in 100-degree heat. Weather's not a factor.

Will my warranty be voided if you unlock my car?

No. Professional lockout service doesn't void any warranties. I'm using approved methods that cause no damage.

How long does it take to unlock a car?

Once I'm there? 2-5 minutes for most cars. Complex vehicles with tight seals might take 10 minutes. But that's rare.

What if my battery's dead?

Doesn't matter for unlocking. I can still get your door open with hand tools.

But if your battery's dead AND your keys are in the car, you might need a jump after I unlock it. I can help with that too.
